Rules

Our tournaments are open to the public. However, we reserve the right to refuse entry of any individual.

  • Entry fee will be $60 per boat. Max 3 persons per boat.
  • 5 fish limit which must be alive.
  • All fish 10 lbs plus must be released after weigh-in.
  • Only catfish(flathead, blue, and channel cats) may be weighed.
  • All anchored boats must maintain a distance of 50 yards of another anchored boat.
  • All boats drifting must maintain a distance of 25 yards of an anchored boat.
  • All fish must be caught on rod and reel only. No snagging.
  • Number of poles per boat is limited only by state regulations.
  • No boat may dock or pull to shore during tournament hours except in case of emergency.
  • All disputes will be decided by the random drawing of 5 non-involved persons.
  • Anyone caught cheating will be prosecuted!
  • Registration will begin on the water 30 minutes prior to tournament time.
  • Anglers will be permitted to fish up to the quit time and 30 minutes to return to the launch ramp. This rule will be strictly enforced.
  • All tournaments will be a shotgun start. Late arrivals will not be accepted.
  • Must fish a minimum of 3 tournaments to earn next years voting rights.
  • Any prize winner may be subject to a polygraph.
  • All tournaments will abide by the following catfish regulations: 1 Bluecat over 35", 1 Flathead over 35" and 1 Channel Cat over 28" per person. The boat limit will be 2 of each for boats containing 2 or 3 anglers. Per the regulations, boats with 1 angler will be limited to 1 of each.

Payback will be as follows:

4 boats and less entered.

1st Place $40.00 per boat entered.

2nd Place $20.00 per boat entered.

No big fish payout.

5 to 9 boats entered

1st Place $35.00 per boat entered.

2nd Place $15.00 per boat entered.

Big Fish $10.00 per boat entered.

10 boats and up

1st Place $25.00 per boat entered.

2nd Place $15.00 per boat entered.

3rd Place $10.00 per boat entered.

Big Fish $10.00 per boat entered.

Note: Big fish will be included in total pounds.
